Afternoon Tea With Ladan Takow
I love exploring and finding authentic places in London and
around the UK. I will start with restaurants and hotels that do classic Afternoon
Tea sets in my favourite city in the world, London town. Afternoon tea is very British
tradition. From Coventry in the West Midlands to Brighton in the south, there
are countless places to get a good cup of tea. When it comes to London, we have too many
options where a cuppa is the most requested item on the menu. Afternoon Tea is
the perfect way to add a touch of luxury to your day. You can enjoy the classic
scones and delicate pastries in London where they do it with class.
“Afternoon Tea has been a quintessentially English tradition
since the 1800’s when Anna, the seventh
Duchess of Bedford would become hungry around four o’clock in the afternoon. Afternoon
tea become a fashionable social event.” The Grosvenor Hotel.
My Social Media buddy who was visiting London and I had tea at the Victoria Grosvenor hotel to finally meet each and talk about the power of social media. What a treat - the service was excellent and whilst we were served by several members of staff all were very pleasant, helpful and cheerful.
The scones and cakes were lovely, we also loved the tea element of pastries and sandwiches. They offered more if we wanted it and as halal food eaters it was nice to have a good choice (for a change).

I would recommend this as a place to go.
